A dream is a wish your heart makes...

As many people know, or maybe not, I am a huge lover of Disney. Each trip I take is even better than the last. This trip was the most magical yet because I was asked to photograph a surprise engagement! I was both excited and nervous about the task, but when the time came it was perfect. The proposal was set for Monday at the Wishing Well by Cinderella Castle. Little did Jenn know Tom had arranged for their families to be at the engagement. That morning we awoke to pouring rain, thunder, and lightening. Staying on track with the plan, we all met up at the Contemporary, and headed to the Magic Kingdom. A quick monorail trip later and we were filled with excitement walking down Main Street USA! Thankful for modern technology ,and the Find My App, we were able to avoid the happy couple and get into our places. As the time drew closer, all our positive vibes we sent out into the world started to work and the pouring rain was now just a drizzle, and the thunder was gone. Once at the wishing well, we encountered a very sweet runner who was trying to capture a few shots of her runDisney medals. Hearing about the proposal she packed up, just as Tom and Jenn were arriving. She ended up videoing the proposal as the family was all hiding and texting it to us later- shout out to her for being awesome! The water around the castle had been drained and Jenn was busy admiring the Disney ducks. Tom pulled out the ring and got down on one knee, Jenn however was still focused on the ducks. A quick tap later, Jenn turned around for the sweetest surprise. I'm not sure if Tom got any words out before Jenn could start saying "YES, YES, YES!" Then there was a flood of family, lots of laughter, tears, smiles, congratulations, and of course pictures to capture it all.
