Lucky

This is the word I continue to repeat to myself after every photo shoot I do.

I went into this year hoping to do a few sessions and gain a lot of knowledge. So far I've completed several courses, joined a whole lot of groups filled with amazing photographers that are beyond helpful and supportive, found a few great mentors, bought a new camera that I love, but most importantly- had some of the most amazing clients ever!

Beyond my photography this year has had its ups and downs. This school year is even more challenging than the last. I feel like every day is a marathon, but I'm thankful for the kids. I also lost my amazing Grampa, he taught me so much and is part of the reason I love photography. He will be greatly missed by so many, but is reunited with his love, his son, and all their many dogs.

On the up side I got to see family that I haven't in quite some time- partially due to Covid and partially due to our distance. Catching up with them was wonderful and made the tough day easier. My summer job moved from down by the water to up at the Recreation office where I got to work with some amazing people, and my day was filled with laughter. I'm also thrilled to have been chosen for the annual Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod Photo Contest, and will have a month in their calendar!

As the year is winding down I'm excited for a few more sessions, and then lots of celebrating-Christmas is my favorite holiday! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy 2022! Remember, I'm only an email away if you have any photo questions or needs!
